Talliston House and Gardens is the inspiration of John Trevillian who at Midday on 6th October 1990 stepped into a 3 bedroom semi detached ex-council house in Great Dunmow..... and started a personal journey that grew into a 25 year project. He took a modest semi in a small English market town and transformed it into a wonderland of inspirational locations, each set in a different time and place. As their website says: " Hard to imagine, impossible to forget" Talliston was completed on 6th October 2015 and is now run as a trust by the Friends of Talliston.
