The Splash Pool will next open in May 2026.
The Bishop’s Stortford Splash Park has water jets and fountains for children of all ages and abilities to enjoy. Please ensure that any children under the age of 8 are accompanied by an adult at all times.
There is disabled access to the park and step free access.
We do not have lifeguards at the pool. There are sometimes BSTC staff members on duty to monitor the water quality and report any problems.
No dogs, bikes or glass are permitted in the splash pool area.
There are toilet facilities onsite.
As part of the ongoing Castle Park Project, the new Markwell Pavilion Community Centre, when complete, will include public toilets, including a new Changing Places facility (which has large disabled toilets with an adult changing bed and a hoist).
Opening Times
The Splash Pool is open from May to September from 9am to 8pm every day, and it is free for all and you do not need to book.
