The Town Council provides local services for the residents and visitors.
We are responsible for services such as allotments, carnival, cemeteries, Christmas fayre and lights, community centres, community transport and minibuses, market square toilets, markets, remembrance service, Sworders Field, Sworders Field play areas, splash pool, Tourist Information Centre, town council events, town council and committee meetings. It also administers several charitable trusts.
The seventeen Councillors give their time and effort voluntarily and are supported by the Chief Executive, Huw Jones and his staff.
