Welcome to the eighteenth newsletter from the Bishop's Stortford Neighbourhood Plan Team.

***Neighbourhood Plan for All Saints, Central, South and part of Thorley Parish***

The second Neighbourhood Plan is now well underway and we will soon be able to present a further draft for people to comment on. We would like to get as much feedback as possible on our objectives and the policies that have been created to try and meet those objectives.  The Neighbourhood Plan allows everyone living or working in Bishop's Stortford to have a say in the future shape of the town so please don't miss the opportunity to have your say. We will be publishing the plan as it evolves on our website at www.stortfordplan.org so please let us have your comments, both positive and negative and tell us if there are any areas we have missed. You can comment via our website or by emailing us at comments@stortfordplan.org. Alternatively you can send your comments by post to the Bishop's Stortford Town Council Offices in Windhill.

***Open Days and Exhibition at Jackson Square on Thursday 17th September and Saturday 19th September***

If you didn't have time to visit our exhibition at Rhodes on 27th June and would like to come and find out more, please join us at Jackson Square in the former Cloud9 Store on either Thursday 17th September or Saturday 19th September between 9.30am and 4.30pm. There will be an exhibition on neighbourhood planning and a chance to give your feedback. You can have a quick browse, vote on some of our policies,  or talk in detail with members of the Neighbourhood Plan Team. They will be there to talk to you further and to answer any questions.

***Topics covered by the Neighbourhood Plan***

The plan covers several areas and there will be the displays on each of the following topics:

  • Transport
  • Green Infrastructure
